Four natural ingredients, one pot, zero gluten. Let’s jam!
This gluten-free jam is made from four simple ingredients: fresh raspberries, chia seeds, honey, and some cinnamon to spice things up.
Besides being tantalizing to your taste buds, raspberries are rich in antioxidants, vitamins and fibre. It boasts many health benefits such as boosting immunity, cancer-prevention, aiding in weight loss, and reducing wrinkles.
Like raspberries, chia seeds pack a nutritional punch, and are becoming one of the most popular superfoods. It has an interesting property of being able to absorb water. When combined with liquids, chia seeds expand and form a gel-like substance. This is why it is frequently included in smoothie recipes as a thickener. This gelatinous texture helps things set and as such, chia seeds are great for jam making.
What’s awesome about this recipe is that it contains no sugar! Sweetened only with honey, it is as close as you can get to a “healthy jam”. Besides being a healthy bread spread, it also makes for a delicious fruity topping for yogurt, muesli or ice-cream.

1) Mix all ingredients except for chia seed 2) Cook over low heat for 20-25 mins until thicken 3) Add chia seed and mix well. Leave to cool and set.

4) 1 tsp Cinnamon
